Tickets on sale Monday for the International Rally of Whangarei brought to you by Mark Cromie Motor Group!

Tickets to the 2021 International Rally of Whangarei brought to you by Mark Cromie Motor Group go on sale from Monday and rally-starved fans of the north can finally get their fix.

With the 2020 season abandoned due to COVID-19 it has been almost two years since the last time the New Zealand Rally Championship visited the cambered roads of Northland.

The sport’s biggest stars will be on hand to battle it out – including former WRC star Hayden Paddon, reigning champion Ben Hunt, a rejuvenated Emma Gilmour and young guns like Jack Hawkeswood, Robbie Stokes and local star Scott Ogle.

Three-day gold passes (Friday night’s Ten4 Pohe Island Super Special Stage as well as Saturday and Sunday stage access are $28.

Tickets can be purchased via EVENTFINDA from 9am Monday March 15.

Pohe Island tickets go on sale Monday March 29 with the rural stage tickets on sale from April 12.

Action starts on Friday night with the Ten4 Pohe Island Super Special Stage including the big jump in the heart of the city, with a chance to meet the drivers and see the cars up close at the opening ceremony on te Matau a Pohe Bridge.

Competitors head north of the city on Saturday while Sunday’s itinerary takes them south before a ceremonial closing at Semenoff Stadium, Whangarei.
